What to expect
Preparing for your consultation
Once your consultation has been arranged, you may be asked to bring relevant medical information with you.
Depending on your circumstances, this may include:
- Referral letter
- Pathology or biopsy reports
- Imaging reports or scans
- Recent blood test results
- Details of previous cancer treatment
- A list of your current medications
- Identification
- Medical aid information, where applicable
Don’t worry if you do not have all of these documents. The Melna Oncology Centre team can advise you on what is required for your particular consultation.
